Mr. Hansen’s experience focuses on evaluating the financial impact of alleged intellectual property infringement and misappropriation including patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets.  He has assisted clients with Section 337 investigations before the United States International Trade Commission addressing domestic industry and remedy issues.  Mr. Hansen has also consulted on the valuation and licensing of intellectual property. 

Mr. Hansen has testified as an expert on damages and economic issues in deposition, trial and arbitration in state courts, federal courts and before the International Trade Commission.  He has also presented on financial, accounting and damages issues as well as intellectual property valuation and licensing to university and industry groups such as the Licensing Executives Society, the University of California Hastings College of the Law and Santa Clara University School of Law.
