Karen Royer is a Director at TM Financial Forensics, LLC, where she consults to companies and outside counsel on economic damages arising from complex commercial litigation matters.  Ms. Royer has analyzed and critiqued numerous lost profits, reasonable royalty and unjust enrichment claims in complex intellectual property disputes, as well as financial damages associated with false advertising, product defect and fraud allegations.  Ms. Royer has consulted on matters venued in federal and state court.  Ms. Royer has also assisted clients with Section 337 Investigations presented in front of the U. S. International Trade Commission (USITC).

Ms. Royer’s industry experience includes semiconductors including GPS and wireless IC’s, computer operating software, Internet technology, computer hardware, networking devices and routers, flat panel displays and consumer products.

Prior to joining TM Financial Forensics, Ms. Royer performed similar work at FTI Consulting where she was a Director in the Forensic and Litigation Consulting practice, and Navigant Consulting where she was an Associate Director in the Disputes and Investigations practice.
